Volcanic Barren Island and the submerged Invisible Bank hold fish that rarely see a lure — monster giant trevally, dogtooth tuna over 50 kg and roaming schools of yellowfin. Staying out overnight means you fish the dawn and dusk bites on grounds that day boats simply cannot reach.
A typical expedition departs before dawn, fishes the morning bite, rests and refuels through the midday heat, then fishes the evening session before anchoring in a sheltered bay or putting in at an island camp.
